I'm working with elementary students introducing simple past for the first time and I want to work with them someting related to what they are learning in Histoy "Industrial Revolution" so, I thought about talking and comparing daily life of a working boy and a prince or someone from a rich family. Can you suggest me any material or a site whare I can find information for them? Or me be something else related to the topic? Remember that it has to be elementary. Thanks for your help

Here the link for a Power Point file about Van Gogh paintings related to a song. Lyrics is displayed as well, in EN + Portoguese and another language that I am unable to tell.
The file *is not* mine, but a great source if you like using songs.

I downloaded the Vincent presentation. Thanks for sharing and making me / us aware of this. It's wonderful!Clap

I also tried to google an author but couldn't find one. However I found a link for the presentation just in English (slightly better formatwise):

www.teihal.gr/gen/labs/comp/VanGogh2.pps

and a youtube link, which I liked, too:

http://rachaellove.wordpress.com/2008/07/04/a-tribute-to-vincent-van-gogh/

If you scroll down, there's the link and the song. It's quite similar to the PPT.
Thanks again. Mietz
